Moderating banner/text ads that your site users have submitted using The FOJ Banner And Text Ads plugin
When users of your site submit banner/text ads, the banner/text ads may go into "Pending" and may not show on the public part of your site until you as admin manually activates the banner/text ad. This is the case even if the user who submitted the banner/text ad has successfully made payment for the advertisement of that banner/text ad on your site. Manually validating the banner/text ads is recommended.
Moderating the banner/text ads that your site users have submitted for advertisement on your site means activating, deactivating, rejecting, or deleting the banner/text ads. To moderate the banner/text ads, you may follow the steps below:
- Log into the admin part of your site.
- Go to "The FOJ Banner And Text Ads".
- Approved Banner And Text Ads: to moderate Approved Banner And Text Ads, click on "Approved Banner And Text Ads".
- Pending Banner And Text Ads: to manage Pending Banner And Text Ads, click on "Pending Banner And Text Ads".
- If you click on either "Approved Banner And Text Ads" or "Pending Banner And Text Ads", a page may open where you may see the banner/text ads that your site users have submitted for advertisement on your site (image below).
- Click on "Edit", "Activate" or "Deactivate", "Reject" to moderate the banner/text ad.
- Delete (Caution): Be forewarned that if you are clicking on the "Delete" button because deleting may take place right away without warning if you click on the "Delete" button.
- Activate/Deactivate: banner/text ads on the "Approved Banner And Text Ads" page are approved by admin and may be showing at the public part of your site. However, banner/texts on the "Pending Banner And Text Ads" are not yet approved and are waiting admin's approval.
- Banner/text ads that are not yet approved by admin may not show at the public part of your site.
