How to make the banner or text ad of The FOJ Banner and Text Ad plugin appear on your site
Do you want the banner/text advertisement of The FOJ Banner and Text Ads plugin to appear on your site?
After a user has successfully paid and submitted banner/text ad for its placement on your site, the banner/text may not appear on the public part of your site right away. To make the banner/text ads appear on your site, create a banner/text ad widget; also make sure the banner/text ad which you want to show on the public part of the site is approved by admin. To create the banner/text widget for ad placement on the the public part of your site:
- Log into the admin part of the site.
- Go to "Appearance and Design".
- Click on "Create Widget".
- A page may appear where you may see a list of widget types (image below).
- Click on "Banner or Text Ad Widget".
- A page may open where you may fill a form to finish creating the banner/text ad widget
- Widget Space: At the field labelled, "Widget Space", select the part of your site where you want the banner/text ad to appear.
- At the field labelled, "Appear on which page?", select the page/pages where the banner/text ad may appear.
- at the field labelled, "How many ads to show at a time?" select how many banner/text ads you may want to show at a time".
- If you choose to show e.g two (2) ads whereas there are more than two (2) ads, then, the ads may show two at a time at random each time the page is refreshed or opened.
- This way, all the ads may have equal likelihood of appearing at the front-end part of your site.
NOTE: In order for the banner/text ad to appear at the public part of your site check,
- the banner/text status: the banner/text ad must be approved by the admin of your site.
- the widget space: the widget space where you select to put the banner/text ad must be the very space where the user who submitted the banner/text ad selected for his banner/text ad placement.
